2017 Upgrades

It's an exciting time at Blue Ridge Bank! Stay informed with new upgrades coming November 2017!

It is an exciting time at Blue Ridge Bank! We would like to inform you of some new technology enhancements coming to Blue Ridge Bank starting in early November 2017. We appreciate your feedback on new products and services you would like to see. We take those suggestions into account when analyzing our products and services. 

As our client, we are pleased to let you know you will have access to the following new products:


1. Upgraded Online Banking Experience 

We are enhancing the look of our online banking website. The login process will remain the same through our website at www.blueridge.bank. Your username and password will remain the same. You will only need to update your security questions. When you update your security questions through Online Banking, it will automatically update on Mobile Banking as well. 

During the time of this upgrade, e-statements will be temporarily unavailable from October 29 through November 6. If you would like a paper statement during this timeframe, please call 864-638-5444 and we will provide a paper statement at no charge. Please be aware there is also a possibility Online Banking will be unavailable for brief periods during this timeframe as well.

If you are currently using Quicken or QuickBooks  you will need to modify your Quicken settings to ensure the smooth transition of your data. Click here to find conversion instructions for the product you're using. Please reference the dates next to each task in the documents as this information is time sensitive.


2. Customized Blue Ridge Bank Mobile Banking App

Our new mobile app is avaliable for download! If you already have the current TouchBanking mobile banking app on your smartphone, you will be required to download the new app at login. You will be directed to the new Blue Ridge Bank Mobile App in Google Play or the Apple Store. Your username and password will remain the same. You will only need to update your security questions. You can do this through Online Banking (see above). You will receive an error message if you try to login and have not updated your security questions. Once you have completed set up of the new app, feel free to delete the TouchBanking mobile banking app. Anyone who wishes to download mobile banking for the first time can simply search “Blue Ridge Bank” in the app store, download, and complete enrollment through Online Banking (see above). Please make sure you download the app that has the same logo as the one in the letterhead above. Click here for more information.


3. Coming in December – Mobile Deposit Capture  

This new feature will allow you to deposit checks directly into your checking or savings account from your smartphone. 


4. Coming in December – New expanded options for business online banking clients
