City of Seneca Honors Blue Ridge Bank for Property Donation

The City of Seneca thanks Blue Ridge Bank for its recent donation of property at 416 East Main Street. At a special called meeting on Dec. 2, 2016, the Seneca City Council accepted the gift of a building and property in foreclosure from the bank, which will allow the city to grow its real estate holdings.

Blue Ridge Financial Corporation Pays Cash Dividend

The Board of Directors of Blue Ridge Financial Corporation, the holding company of Blue Ridge Bank, recently declared a cash dividend in the amount of $204,799.00 or $.50 per share payable to stockholders on record as of December 1, 2016.

Bryson celebrates 58 years at Blue Ridge Bank

The year was 1957 and a new bank opened in the small, rural town of Walhalla. A few blocks down the street, a young woman by the name of JoAnn Robins, now known as JoAnn Bryson, worked as the bookkeeper and secretary for a local department store.

Free Community Shred Day

Blue Ridge Bank will host a free paper shredding event in observance of Arbor Day on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 10am to 2pm.

Community members are encouraged to bring personal or sensitive documents to be safely shredded and recycled by Shred-A-Way, a shredding and document Storage Company based in Piedmont, South Carolina.
